AUDITIONS

Wednesday March 4th @6:30pm-8:30pm

Moon Over Buffalo centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950s. At the moment, they’re playing Private Lives and Cyrano De Bergerac in rep in Buffalo, New York. On the brink of a disastrous split-up, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if he likes what he sees, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong does go wrong.

Directed by Stephanie Cotton-Snell

Performance Dates:
June 5 @ 7pm
June 6 @ 2pm and 7pm

We have been producing shows for 5 years already! All thanks to the support of our community. Many of our EBP friends have come back year after year, and we want to welcome everyone as Official East Boston Playhouse Members. This season we are opening our official annual membership...

"Working with the East Boston Playhouse has been one of the greatest decisions I have made. [The directors] care about you, and are willing to help you no matter what. This is not just community theater. This is a strong family. There is so much talent, and love wrapped into this small group of actors! So, if you like acting, but want more than just cast mates, come join our family. You won't regret it!"

"I'm so grateful to the Playhouse for giving me the opportunity to be in my first full theater production. The directors, the crew and the cast were all terrifically supportive and wonderfully talented. It was a great way to connect with the East Boston community and give my all to acting! I can say to anyone who has lived with hunch that they want to act but has been too scared to try: the East Boston Playhouse is the absolute best way to give it a go.  You'll be so glad you did!  I can't wait for the next time I can be in a show."

"The enthusiasm was never less than 100%, which made performing with everyone beyond easy and fun; even when I was grumpy and tired, everyone else still had a smile on their face. The road getting to the show as bumpy, but everyone, cast and crew, made it a great experience."
